Balfour Winery in Kent sells wine, tours and events directly to customers through its ecommerce website. The team behind it isn’t short on expertise, they know their products, their customers and their marketing inside out. What they’d had enough of was agencies who treated them like they didn’t understand their own website, while taking weeks to make changes that should have taken days.
02What I did
Development resource for a team that already knew what it wanted.
Balfour didn’t need someone to tell them what their website should do, they needed someone to build it, quickly and without the runaround. I support and maintain their WordPress and WooCommerce site, and have improved the editing experience so the team can manage products, content and events themselves, calling on me for the development work only they can’t do in-house.
